Admit it or not, nothing says more about people than respecting others’ beliefs – especially when it concerns religious teachings and devout values.
But did you know that it concerns us the most?
Let’s take a closer look on how respecting others’ beliefs affects us:
It reflects where we came from.
Let me ask you two questions: How would you feel if someone tells you that you’re like that because you live here? Positively, it will make others proud of us. But how would you feel if someone tells you that you’re like this because you live there? Negatively, it will make others – even our families – critical of us. This is why respecting others’ beliefs is very important.
It reflects how we are raised.
As they say, everything starts at home – from religious teachings to subject lessons or from devout values to introverted qualities. But as they say, everything reflects back at home – from the moment you respect others’ beliefs to the moment you disrespect others’ beliefs and when you act on what you speak to when you speak on what you act.
It simply transforms us into better people.
Respecting others’ beliefs does not only transform us. It simply transforms us into better people – via certain steps of transformation that doesn’t only help us become more empathetic, but also help us become more determined in blessing other people’s lives.
Always remember, people come from all walks of life. No matter who they are, they deserve to have their beliefs respected. No matter what they do, they deserve to have their beliefs respected.
No matter where they come from, they deserve to be respected. No matter how they are raised, they deserve to be respected. They deserve to be respected, no matter what kind of life transformation they’re going through.
